Town of Rutland
The Board of Selectmen of the Town of Rutland, acting in its capacity as the Board of Public Works, has scheduled a Public Hearing in the large meeting room of the town library, 280 Main Street, Rutland, on Wednesday, June 6th, 2018 at 7:00 pm for the purpose of discussion/vote on a temporary moratorium on new Water and/or Sewer connections by regulation.
Relevant factual information and a draft regulation will be made available on the Town website and at the office of the Town Clerk as soon as possible prior to that evening, and a full set of historical documentation and data will be made available for reference at the public hearing.
Significant attendance is anticipated at the hearing with many interested parties hoping to speak. The Board encourages anyone with opinions, comments, suggestions or questions, to prepare them in writing and email them to the Board in advance at email@example.com, or submit them by hand at the start of the hearing for the Board’s consideration. Please note that Board members will be given preference to speak. Public comments may be limited for time, and speakers may be limited to a number of total comments and questions.
