Appendix B Guidelines for consideration of internally illuminated signs
1. Internally illuminated signs should be considered only in business or industrial zones.
2. Internally illuminated signs should not be permitted in overlay or transition zones.
3. The preferable type of internally illuminated is the monument or groundmount sign.
4. Internally illuminated signs should have opaque backgrounds.
5. Internally illuminated signs should conform to all applicable requirements of this bylaw.
6. Internally illuminated signs should be designed to minimize excessive glare and illumination of the surrounding area.
7. No more than one (1) internally illuminated sign should be permitted on each business site.
