COA BUS TRIPS

Bus trips are offered regularly with "The Best of Times"and now Tours of Distinction as well.  Contact Carol at the COA office at 508-886-7945 for information on the current trips.

                                                      Trips for 2012

March 13, 2012: "Forever Irish" by Andy Cooney at Venus de Milo in Swansea, MA. Meal choice of corned beef and cabbage or baked haddock. $69pp includes transportation, luncheon and show

April 24, 2012: Art in the Berkshires begins at Williams College Museum of Art. Lunch is at Orchards Hotel then on to Sterling and Clark Art Institute. Price is $75pp and includes transportation, guided tour and lunch

May 6, 2012: Ellis Island & Statue of Liberty, New York departs at 6:30am and returns at approximately 8:30pm. Start your day at Ellis Island, take the ferry to the Statue of Liberty in the afternoon. Price is $71pp

June 10, 2012: Block Island, Ferry to the island, have lunch at the National Hotel, explore the beach, shops and natural beauty of the island. Price is $93pp, departs at 7:30am, est return at 7:30pm

July 8, 2012: Tall Ships Challenge, Newport, RI: Enjoy lunch at the Quidnessett Country Club in N Kingstown, RI, then cruise to Newport for a close up view of the Tall Ships. Price is $96pp

August 19: Mike's Clam Shack at Wells, Maine. Enjoy your choice of lobster, clams or prime rib. Shop at Lighthouse Depot and Kittery Yummies Candies & Nuts. Price is $88pp.

September 23: Bourne Scallop Festival. Enjoy the Festival including entertainment, crafts and lunch. Includes a 75min train ride to Hyannis. Price is $91pp.

October 14: Apple Country Tour, Bennington, VT. Visit Camelot's Country Craft Store, craft galleries, lunch at Mt. Anthony Country Club and a stop at the Apple Barn and Country Bake Shop plus a narrated bus ride to the top of the 300 acre apple orchard. Price is $85pp.

Try your luck at our Bus Trip Raffle! The Friends of COA sponsor a raffle at $2 per chance. Once 50 tickets are sold, a winner is chosen and a new raffle begins. Winner may choose from any Rutland COA bus trip!

Gift certificates in any denomination are available at the COA office too - great gift idea! These trips are open to any age so seniors can enjoy with their families!
